2.If a clock takes 3 sec to strike at 3 o clock (striking time neglected), then wht would be d time taken by d clock to ring when it is 7 o clock.

At 3 o clock it strikes thrice.

So for 2 intervals it takes 3 secs(striking time neglected). So for one interval it would be 3/2 secs = 1.5 secs.

When it is 7 o clock it would strike 7 times and the interval is 6. So it would take 1.5 sec * 6 = 9.0 sec
