Hello Reader,
In this lesson, I'm giving only the meanings of the homonyms. Besides, I expect you all to try these homonyms in your spoken language whenever and wherever you find these homonyms useful in your discourse.

1. arc - portion of a circle
ark - vessel

2. ascent- the climb
assent- to agree

3. auger- a drill
augur- foretell

4. aweful- filled with awe
awful- really bad
offal- butchered entrails

5. aye - naval affirmative
eye - ocular organ
I- oneself

6. bail- bucket handle
bale- bundle of hay

7. bailed- pumping water out of a boat
baled- to gather into a bale

8. bailee- a person to whom goods are committed
for custody or repair
bailey- the outer wall of a castle
bailie- a municipal officer in Scotland

9. bailer- one who bails (water)
bailor- a person that entrusts goods to a
bailee
baler- one who bales (hay)

10.bailing- pumping water out of a boat
baling- wire used to tie bales

11.bait- to torment
bate- to lessen

12.baiting- tormenting
bating- lessening

13.baize- green felt
bays- one or more enclosed arms of the ocean
beys- one or more Turkish officials

14.bald- hairless
balled- carnal knowledge
bawled- cried aloud

15.ball- playful orb
bawl- to cry
