Hi Wizkid and Spoorthi,
One standard answer for everything is, COMPANY POLICY. Every company will follow them what ever may be the case. If anyone do not complie with them, they have full rights to remove that employee. Actually if anyone joins with fake experice, companies can file a cheating case agianst them and can send him/her behind bar. But, nocomapny has done it till now. This is just because they are very liberal in this kind of issues and they understand us better as the HR is also from India.... don't forget this fact
NOTE : But, as the number of cases increased recently, WIPRO started filing civil cases against the members who were found recently. The count is more than 10 now.
let me answer Spoorthi's question. Are there any loop holes selection process?
Yes. There are. Analysing the person just with in 30 mins or in 1hr is very difficult. Many times people go wrong. Also, interviewers are not trained enough in judging the people. So, they often do mistakes.
If a company fires a person saying he is not competant enough, it means he does not fit in their company or in the team in which he is working. It does not mean he is not capable of doing anything.
For eg. if a person who is interested in dev joins a testing team (what ever may be the reason behind) then obviosly he will not perform well. But, he get what he want, he will out perform...
It is a very big discussion that will keep going on. I too understand the feelings of people and how they feel if they did not get job even though they have very good knowledge. There are many times when I said to my friends and relatives that it is very difficult to get job as a fresher. And then no other way remains except going ahead with fake..... But, we should not forget the other side of the coin. We should develop the habit of observing both sides.
In my experinece, what I understood is, companies gives value to experience than your ability. Atleast upto 80% importance even though not 100%.
Thanks,
Krishna
