Basically there r 2 typesof attributes....
1.Display Attributes:These can be used to display additional information in reports & queries.These are used for display purpose only.Again in this we will have.....Time dependent display attribues, Time independent diaply attribues.

2.Navigational Attribues:These can be used for display and for navigation and filtering in BEx queries.Again in this we will have Time dependent navigational attribues, Time independent navigational attribues....
