hi..
as the topic goes beauty contests degrade womenhood...in my perspective beauty contests does degrade women in some aspects..the beauty of a women lies in her behaviour rather in her looks..even though beauty contests hav several rounds to test womans internal beauty,her knowledge and her confidence to take up the challenges there are other rounds where woman need to expose their beauty and somtimes with 3/4th naked body..i think there is no need to expose to test the actual beauty..show casing womans beauty to the world really degrades woman especially wen indian womans r concerned..so if some of these rounds of beauty contests r modified and if more importance is given to our culture then beauty contests definitely help in upliftment of womanhood..thanku
