What kind of website? Depending on the application/website, kinds of testing and importance may vary. But in general, these are the points that need to be kept in mind for any web testing.

1. Security
2. Intuitive user-friendly user-interface
3. Functionality
4. Performance
5. Cross/Multi browser support (javascript, old/new browser versions, security settings and so on)
