Re: !!!!!!! Mega Vocabulary thread !!!!!!!!
well sorry to break the chain. I was wondering most of the people, who want to learn English like myself, are familiar with most of the words presented here. The dilemma arises when to use these words and in what kind of situations, citing a real time experience or a situation where these words could be put to use would be more beneficial.
Let me try it and i care a hoot if any body laughs at it. Laugh all you want, but please correct me if i'm wrong that would be more helpful.
breach: the act or a result of breaking; break or rupture
The security was BREACHED at the highest level.
if i take the literal meaning and say anything like this, "I breached his bone in a fight", i guess people would laugh at me. please correct me.
regards,
deeps
