Designation :Trainee Market Analyst

Job Description : â Interpret financial sources to upload data onto real-time quotation templates and reference data databases in a timely and accurate manner
â Utilize knowledge of financial instruments to conduct data quality validation checks
â Respond to data queries from Reuters customers and provide high-level support to such users
â Enhance expertise in Reuters products as well as ensure correct representation of real-time and reference data on these products
â Monitor market events in order to anticipate changes in financial instruments
â Build relations with our suppliers to ensure optimal service delivery to our end-users
â Work with Development and Operations teams to deal appropriately with data outages
â Deliver on project requirements to provide new data and services to our customers
â Identify possible efficiencies in process to enhance data quality and ensure productivity maximisation
â Ensure that the relevant database administration procedures are maintained and adhered to and that all processes are documented
â Respond to internal queries on respective market information
â Identify new data opportunities.

Desired Profile : To serve in this professional position of Market Analyst we require an individual who has completed at least a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics or a related analytical field.
â Able to perform effectively under pressure
â Advanced knowledge of financial markets
â Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
â Advanced organizational skills, the ability to multi-task and prioritize
â An inquiring mind and a willing attitude to develop their expertise further by learning more databases and asset classes
â Advanced knowledge of MS Office - particularly MS Excel
â Any knowledge of Reuters Products is an advantage
