Designation : AS/400 Professionals (Policy/400, Group/400)

Job Description Responsibilities
â Perform user requirement gathering, system analysis, programming, testing and implementation support (including UAT support)
â Investigate application system problems reported by users and follow-up with relevant vendors
â Prepare relevant system / implementation documents. Provide or work with vendor on effort estimation and solution proposed where required
â Coordinate day-to-day service desk support to ensure that the required service standards are met. Perform tasks to ensure high availability of systems
â Participate in regular testing of system recovery to ensure high level of preparedness
â Participate in local rollout of regional projects / systems
â Participate or lead local projects
â Adhere to IT Governance and Procedures.

Requirements
â Possess a Degree / Diploma in Computer Science or any related discipline
â Minimum 3 years (5 years for System Analyst) of working experience preferably in the insurance industry
â Working knowledge of AS/400, COBOL, CL programs and Query/400 is required. Experience with Polisy/400 , Group/400 or other AS/400 related insurance application systems would be advantageous
â Possess good verbal and written communication skills in English
â Have good interpersonal and problem solving skills
â Able to work independently and willing to meet challenging targets
â Willing to adapt to new IT process and procedures
