    Ans is 72.

    sol: 150+50=180 minute

    so 150x+50*2*x=180 minute

    ie,250x=180

    so we will get x=18/25

    time taken to solve mathematics questions=50*2*18/25(72)

    A.36

    D.100

    Sol:-

    time taken for solving other questions = 150x

    time taken for solving mathematics questions = 2 X 50x

    total time taken

    150x + 100x = 180 min (3 Hrs)

    x = 18/25

    time taken for solving mathematics questions = 2 X 50x

    = 2 X 50 X 18/25

    = 72

    1, No of Girls/ Total No Students=x/(x+y)&n bsp; option C

    2, 2pt=1qt
    4qt = 1gal;
    4(2pt)=8pt=1gal;
    1pt=1/8 gal;
    1/2 pt = 1/16 gal;
    multiplying 64 on both sides
    64(1/2 pt)= 64(1/16) gal= 4 gal
    Ans is 64&nbs p;&nbs p;&nbs p;&nbs p;&nbs p; option D
