The sum of the digits of a two digit number is 8. When 18 is added to the number, the digits are reversed. Find the number?

Let the two digits of the number be : x and y, then the number is 10x * y
Given :
x + y = 8 -- (1)
((10 * x) + y ) + 18 = ( 10 *y) + x
=> 9*x - 9 *y = -18 -- (2)
Solving (1) and (2) we get
x = 3 and y= 5 so the number is : 35 such that 35 + 18 = 53,reverse of the original number

its simple,any 2 digit no is represented as 10x+y
eg-11=10*1+1
it is standard form of representing a 2 digit no
in the same way 3 digit no-100x+10y+z
...
