A two digit number reversed and multiplied by 4 is 3 more than the original digit.

Let the original number be (10x+y) it's reverse is (10y+x)
So,as per the specified condition we have, ((10y+x) * 4) - ( 10x+y) = 3 on solving we get y=(2x+1)/13 and by trial and error we get y=1 and x=6 Hence, original number is : 61 and ( 16 * 4 ) - 61 = 3
