hi deepthi,


If we taketens digit =x


and units digit =y


ON solving we get x=3/2y


by trail and error we get y=2 and x=3


so x+y=5


If it is in case of CAT then answer may be different

This questions seems to be incomplete but if we consider the given answr then the answer would be 6 i.e second options as

sum of two digit no. is 6 (given)

means option available are 15,51,24,42

5-1 is not equal to 1/12 (51 or 15)

hence just 24,42 left

4-2 is equal to 1/12(24)




therefor 24 is the number and 6 is the sum.
