hi, i have a doubt in networks. i attend the interview for hp. the questions are 1)If there are two senders and a single receiver and if two senders are sending the information to the receiver at the same.then how does the receiver know that a packet arrived at that instant is from sender 1 or sender 2. to be more clear............ each sender fragment its data and give a id to each packet.the numbering will be like (1,2,3,4,5,6.......) for two senders.the numbering will be the same for both the senders.in both senders the numbering starts from 1.then how does the receiver distinguish between the packet 1 of sender1 and the packet 1 of sender2. 2)The next question is whether the ip layer in tcp/ip model a connection oriented or connection less? if this is connection oriented ,then if we use the connectio less service (udp) in the transport layer then how can it happen. in the same way.if it is connection less and if we use a connection oriented service(tcp) in the transport layer.then how does it happen. please reply me with your answers. please please ask me any questions in computer networks.i want the questions asked in computer networks .where can i get them. plese answer the above two questions thanks in advance bye shriram |
