My Ashok Leyland Interview experience:
Hi guys... I am Srihari from PSG Tech Coimbatore. Ashok Leyland is the first company that comes to our campus for recruitment… So it was really a tough battle to get thru.
The selection process is as follows
A written test consisting of 3 rounds
Aptitude 60 questions 30 mins
Technical 50 Q’s 25 mins
Mech comprehension 50 Q’s 30 mins
After these rounds they shortlisted 66 people from 150
Then was my interview. They called us in rank wise... I was the first person on the second day.
There were 3 HRs in the panel. Before I went into the panel the HR came outside and asked me to come in soon. I went inside and gave the application form that they had given to us. It was the only thing they got from us... NO resumes, no certificates or no reports J They want you to be urself.
First I explained about my RC car project. So they asked many questions from it... Like the engine power, torque, capacity, bore, stroke etc... Then they asked me Ackerman steering and steering error (I dint know abt it).
They also asked me to explain my whole summer training and I did. They asked me the % of C in CI and gear material. They also asked about my extra curricular activities. I am a participant in Baja 09 so they were asking about that also.
As a whole interview was really cool. SO wat I wud advice is be urself and not make a fuss out of anything... Be confident and ur into ASHLEY J
