Where to do final yr proj. Instituete or company? Which language to choose?

iam a btech 4th year student i want to know whether it is beneficial to do a project
in company or institutes.in institute they first teach the subject then they give project.
please suggest any government companys to do a project like drdl.suggest any companys that give placement also its very urgent pls guide me
i wanted to know whether it is beneficial to do aaproject in dotnet or java.i dont have any knowledge of dotnet & my teammate(only one) has more knowledge in dotnet rather then java.

1st come to on wat technology u want to do project wether dotnet or java.....u r saying tht u r not hvng any idea abt dotnet....its clear na if u knw java do proj on java.
1st of tell me how many members ur team consists...if its only 2members...and if she knws java also batter to do proj on java...bcoz ifu compramise n if u do dotnet proj then there r no worth for u and also u wont gain any knowledge as u dont knw the sub..........when u'll face interviews deff they'll ask abt ur proj so dont hesitate to tell ur frd to tell all these pts...tell ur teammate proj meant for knowledge gaining if i dont knw the sub at all how can i do the proj?................so and its all upto u decide well......

comming to projects in companies and institutes..........gve 1st preference to companies itself.....but to do proj in companies u should've some referals in the companies.............and also there r so many institutes which r offering nice proj also.......look for the quality.......check final yr proj section u may get some instutes tht r offering projects....
i dont think so companies will gve placement assistance for projects itself...

i can suggest u one inst..IDEA LABS ,PARADISE.itz a very gud place for getting real time exp in project.they'll conduct some refreshing classes from december itself.in jan..u'r project will be started.they'l even give u placement assistance.i did my project dere.so i thin itz da best place to do a project

yah for java...for java...idea labs tht is in begumpet....they r providing live proj ...tht is best for live proj on java.......
if there r 4members then combinely take a decission depending on all capability....and also there'll be enough time ifu want u can alone do proj on ur intrest just to get knowledge........

i suggest to do project in companies if u getting chance thru referals
or else govt companies like nrsa,iict,drdo,drdl,etdc,nsic etc
next thing if u have fair knowledge in java u can go for it
then next join some ins in ameerpet or else where for some courses like java or dot net depending on ur interest
u do ccourse as well as project as doing apptitude and learning tech subjects for interviews this is the fair time now to utilise effictively
and also if u do in project in ins u wont learn anything bcz they are already one
learning is more imp now

1st decide what area u wish 2 proceed in ur career .... is it in JAVA or .net ?
depending on that proceed further .... bcos ur proj exp can help u 2 start ur job career ....
it is better 2 do proj at cmpnies rather than at institutes ....
