Any limit to sit for campus interviews? Which companies take people with <60% ?

hello everyone
Thanx for the replies.I want to know what are the eligibilty to sit for a campus in software companies.As far as i know the eligibilty criteria in almost all companies are career 60%.But i want to know how many companies are there which take students below 60%career.Hope i'll get my solution quickly.

the eligibility criteria differs form one company 2 other.For ex oracle's cutoff is 70% and patni has cutoff of 55%.To my knowledge there are no mnc's who recriut people having <60.But u don worry.U can work in a small company 4 an year or so and den u can move on to an MNC.Once u get exp u'r prcentage doesn't affect somuch.So prepare u'r subject thoroughly.learn some technology bcoz they focus more on technology.ALL DA BEST.

hi frd,
yah most of the companies r asking above 60%............but not all.....it depends on the company....try to apply for all companies.....concentrate on ur sub...if u r good enough with ur sub then it will be benificial to u. check companies & rec section in this forum u'll get many companies and consultancies mail ids....prepare ur resume and apply to them....watever the company wether its big or small try to attend for interviews....wish u all the best

if its campus placement then most of the cmpnies look for cands having >60%....
but if u opt 4 small cmpnies u can get thru them .... even with decent pay packs ....
with ur exp there u can get in2 big MNCs .... still % plays major role ...

hi frndsthanx a lot for the information given by all swapna,vjsreev and all.i'll try my best.now i'll have my placements from mid feb.i've heard for Accenture the criteria is only Btech 60%.i've 85%in 10th,59% in 12th and 75% in Btech.Hope i'll get in a good company later.k frnds thanx againbye

u have a very gud academic track except in inter .it doesn't matter yaar.....They may consider you for u'r engg percentage...don worry....u said dat u have some campus interviews rite......u can get a job easily....ALL DA BEST

u have a good btech % .... b prepared well with ur subj ....
ur inter% may matter in some cases but still u can get in2 a good place safely with ur good grad % ....
