this is swapna of 4th year btech.i want to know whether it is good
to develop a website for a company as aproject we r totally 4 members in team.please suggest me its very urgent.

To be frank, if they (company) are serious in putting your project as a live site then it is very good oppertunity to show your knowledge and creativity to the world. But here what you need to analize is, is it just a simple website designing with static pages or is it a dynamic content??

If it is a dynamic content and you are using some server-side scripting, then it will help you to learn a lot and will really help you. If it is a static site (atleast 70% of pages should be static) then probably it needs lot of focus on designing aspects (like flash and so on) and will not help you much unless you are planning to go ahead in your career as web designer.

So first identify the requirements and then decide. If you simply say a "website", no one will be able to give proper answer.

as kireeti said chk whether they r going 2 make it as live or not ....
then chk out the techs which r being used 2 develop it ....
chk whether its ny DB driven or jst a static site ....
most imp is think whether u wish 2 continue in that field after ur grad r not.... bcos this proj ll b very much useful 2 u only if u wish 2 continue in tat field ....
