UR VALUABE SUGGESTION REQUIRED

Well i think lot of things still r not clear about the company my parents r concerned that since they have not given any offer letter how should they allow me send to distant place like DELHI (where i will b new) .Now i asked them to give an offer letter but they r sayin to come over to delhi then there they will do legal documentation but i am not sure of what they r going to do so lot of doubt in mind.What if i don't go there so what should b my strategy in order to get job in a good software company meanwhile i have completed learning core JAVA ,now doing J2EE?
Am i going to be asked during interview what i was doin last yr as i m 2006 passout and if then what should be my answer.However one thing for sure i am determined to join an IT industry.PLZ GIUDE

Deepak,

Keep the determination in you. One day you will achieve what you want. Now a days many companies only confirm it though email and that is the only unofficial proof we will have until we join. Probably they are worried that we will on to demand more in other companies showing this offer letter. So I think you don't have to worry about it much.

1 Year gap is not a really big gap. I belive you have far less than 1 year gap. So you can always say I was attending interviews as well taking some trainings to improve my skills.

yah 1yr gap is not a big prob....still u r fresher....if they asks u wat u've done during this period u can tell like i've undergone some courses...sharpened my skills.....now started searching forjobs........
some companies will gve offer letter the time when u r joining..........u said u've taken some time extended some more days to join........if ur course completes then start searching job on j2ee in tht period.
after gng there also u can ask them bond breakage rules....if u r not satisfied then dont join.............final decission is urs....

1 yr gap is not a big thing to get worried ....
convincing company ppl depends on the way of ans u give n ur conf levels ...
so yr gap is not a big issue as of now ....
J2EE is having good no of oppurtunities ....
keep your mind fresh & keep urself conf as well updated with ur tech skills ....
i agree with kireeti - these days ppl r giving soft copies of offer letters rather than the hard copies...
b cool n think for yourself ....
v all can sugg u but the end person who need 2 decide & who gets effected with the decisions is u ....
so think wisely n decide.

Hi Deepak,
Chk the bond if it not for much longer period u can join .don't leave the offer . I am frm Hyderabad nd lot of bengalis work in our company
who came down to this distance so think of it.if any thg doubt ask me.

Hi thanks to all of u for ur suggestion ,so finally i have decided not to join the company as i think that this is not the end of road for me and as i have decided that i will join an IT industry so i will b in touch with respective field n prepare ,even my parents do think the same don't u all?
