how to manage the gap
Hi,
This is swapna,i have completed BSc biochemistry inthe year 2000 and Msc microbiology in the year 2005-2007. At present i completed SAS course i have keen interest for it. 1. Now the main thing is i have a gap of over 5 years between graduation and PG(Actually i worked as a school teacher in that 5 years). so, how to go about in SAS HR interview about the gap i had? 2. Whether to prepare cooked up resumes about experience in SAS or to go as a fresher? Please guide me . Awaiting early responses. Swapna |

Re: how to manage the gap
Hi Swapna,
As far as I know, you can go as fresher. And to cover up the gap you have, you don't have to put any fake experience. You can say frankly that you have worked for so and so school. But you should have proper justification why you have come back to study. You can say something like, our family was is financial crisis at that time and so I have decided to help my parents. So quit my studies and took up a job. Now every thing is fine again and I am going ahead with what I have dreamed for. Else you can say, after working for 5 yrs I couldn't see any real career growth in that field. So I have decided to study and take up new challenges with better career options. But as you are 2007 passed out, you can apply as fresher with out any doubt. Thanks, Krishna
