SAP Career

Hi, i am working as a software engineer for a MNC at hyderabad and i have 3 yrs of experience in VC++ mostly on the maintenance projects.

I would like to shift my career to SAP. The problem is i dont have any idea about any one of the modules in SAP, so that i can take up a career with SAP.

Also anyone has any idea about good SAP training institutes which provide placement and as well are cost effective.

And also will i be able to get a job in SAP with my current 3 yrs of experience in vc++?

hi frd,
since you have exp on VC++........you can do ABAP module in SAP..which includes some programming..........and also you can do BW........
with the exp of VC++...........getting job on SAP.....chances are very very less but u can try........there may be or may not be in this case........bcoz now a days all real time ppl came into picture so mainly for SAP asking for only SAP exp ppl....but u can by keeping VC++ exp.....you may get job as a fresher on SAP.....but so much less oppr in tht manner...........

y u want to shift to SAP? i think VC++ also booming now a days....

Thanks for an early response.

The reason, i am planning to move from VC++ is because of the projects i am working on and already worked on.

I have been working on maintenance projects since 3 years and i am not finding any prosperous growth in VC++ technology because most of the projects in many of the companies are in maitenance only.

And also i am planning for abroad jobs, hence looking for SAP career.

Spoorthi it will be of great help if u can help me in finding a good SAP training institute in Hyderabad which provides placements and also cost effective.

actually there r so many institutes.... EPIC TECHNOLOGIES,Reliance,ilogic..........and there r many......attend demos frd then u'll know wat type of training they r giving........in my view its better to attend demos in institutes and ask your doubts in demos itself....
