CURRENT SITUATION OF IT MARKET IN HYD

HI I am Sajish...........

I am a MCA fresher and I am representing the current Fresh Batch 2007 and I would like to know when the situation of IT market will be charged up again.........so that we can again call HYD the IT HUB?

there are various factors that are involved. Hyd will not b-come an IT HUB just like that.

factors include :-

1 - exchange rates ( currently dollar is on a downhill ride....so expect some problems since most of the companies in india are Service oriented with maximum clientèle from USA )

2 - government policies ( major importance )

3 - Current state of the economy ( inflation, blah..blah..blah )

and the list goes on..

all i can say is, have an optimistic attitude with some generous amounts of realism and a pinch of pessimism.

For freshers no need to worry about market situation,there is and will always be demand for IT freshers if you are qualified and hyderabad is one of the IT hubs.Just go and try in the top IT majors,there is no stopping ,on the contrary there is acute shortage of manpower in many IT companies.So,what live-wire is saying is not a matter of concern for freshers,its for experienced people ,that to its a global effect not of national importance as of now,with india booming on all parameters in IT sector.

i must also bring to your notice one of the most important factor that u must b aware of ( for freshers in hyderabad )...

1 - if u have 60% + consistently from your 10th...then no probs..else u are in for problems
( i am one of those unfortunate ones...been trying for jobs here in hyd from June2007...thats wen i passed out of MCA ).
if u have less than 60% in only one...still that wont work out...

so in short, freshers who have maintained a consistent 60 + have a fair chance..
