Hello frns i dont have 60% in 10th and inter but kept for TCS with 60%

my name is venkat... and i dont have 60% in 10th and inter i.e., my actual percentages are 59.9 and 58.9 .... but i have kept to TCS by keeping 60% ... i have cleared written round ... and am having tech round on 3rd .. am going to take original memos where my percentages are 59.9 and 58.9 so .... i am scared whether they will allow me to attend or not please give me suggestion....................

u should have thought of this earlier...but i understand your problem, since, even i, have similar percentages in 10, inter and degree..besides some of friends have their interview on 3rd..and they too are in the same spot.

all i can say is...dont fake, companies come to know of it one way or the other and it will create helluva problem for you. Start of with smaller companies ( this is better option in terms of experience and work environment )...once u get experience opt for larger companies coz if u have experience...companies tend to ignore your academic record.


as far as attending the interview is concerned, i am sure u muist have some firneds that had their interview yesterday (27-10-2007)...y dont u confirm with them regarding the situation.

it will be a problem later bcz even though attend the Technical Interview and got thru it, there is seperate department for crosschecking the Orginal certificates at that time you will be thrown out of TCS
MY Suggestion for all

Dont Put Fake experience and Fake percentages bcz its risk factor in your life.

As you have decided to go with your original certificates, do it. Don't be ashamed to accept the fact that you have faked your %. Maximum they can do is, they can ask you decently to leave interview hall. No need to be frightened about it.

If you were been questioned for the reason, don't be afraid to tell the truth that you want to attend their written test and assess yourself and also want to prove that you have all other traits which they are looking for in a good candidate. But this will give raise to another question on "being honest". In such case, also tell them the fact that you are trying to be honest and thats why you are reveling the truth in initial rounds of interview rather faking through out the process.


Don't be afraid of being rejected. Be bold and have courage to accept it.
