SOftware Testing Course

I am Graduate in Electronics in 2000. Since then I have worked in
sales field. But now I want to change over to software testing. I
have prelimary know of C lang. Can any one tell give me advice what
will be my chance of getting job & should I shift to testing at such
stage?

If you are from Electronics background then better to go for Embedded systems....Presently is booming.....

I tried embedded, but as it require lot knowledge of electronice & basic logics ,I was unable to deliver, because of so much gap. Hence I am thinking of Software testing.

Hi,
You sure can move to Testing. Nothing is impossible. I know some people who moved to Testing who are from Non-technical back ground. But you have to work very hard. There are so many forums in this website itself. so go to those forums and you will get some idea. all the Best

Hi friend!! looks like my profile is similar to urs.. I am also looking to move to software testing.. after years in teaching /bpo sector.. r u doing any course in testing or any project work.. do u have any inputs /suggestions on how to move?

well if u r gng to do a course in s/w testing thn i must suggest u SEED INFOTECH..its a gud institute plus every year they organise a job fair in whc aall the leading companies r included but before tat u hav to clear aptitude & personal intv...

yaar......u can surely try in software testing .......there are two methods....in s/w testing
one is black box testing (which dont need knowledge of programming)it is done in many indian company

second is white box testing which need knowledge of programming some company donin this but rarely only developer does

Same here jumping in to S/W testing with no programming background.
Black box seem to be ok for now, but how to get an know how about it.
Any classess online or courses or books to read?
