J2me / Embedded system confusion

Hi, I am Ritesh Bahety. I have done B. Tech in Electronics & Comm. passed out in 2005, then Embedded System course from Bangalore (6 months). After that i got job in Chandigarh in Jan 2007. Now i am working in J2ME (application) domain (not games domain). Can anyone tell me what should i do now? I want to shift to different place. Which domain should i choose (J2ME or Embedded Systems)? And how to jump to another company? I have 1 year exp in J2ME domain

it depends on ur intrest J2ME or Embeded? In which field u r intrested? If u r intrested in Embeded then u can try on tht.....J2ME exp may count ......just prepare ur resume n keep in all job sites.......for Embeded just apply for companies directly through company websites........

Hello friend don't keep option in Ur career......
First find out Ur interest..... and search job in that domain that will be the best one..
Else prepare two type of resume and Update it U can get job depend on Ur luck... But not sure is Ur job will be interesting..........
For Embedded they will prefer freshers or 3+ year experience....
Decision is Upto U.......

Since i am 2005 passout B.Tech (ECE) so embedded companies are very rare and furthermore i do not have any experience in that line. Only i have done course.

Secondly, in my company i am working in J2ME domain. But the projects are less as in this companies the domain is not fixed. In which line you will work is decided by the higher authority. So, thats also the problem. I worked in testing, then servlets and now in J2ME porting. I want to shift to application developer. I have the knowledge of C, C++ and J2ME. So, what should i do now? I have posted my resumes in all the job sites. Should i learn new techonology. I have not worked on any database project, so should i have to learn any database as it is not required in J2ME. If i choose J2ME, then companies are less? And to show the projects in that domain is also ......?
