hi,

i m presently i m in the final yr of MCA.i m very much confused whether to opt JAVA or .net for my project .i do have the knowledge of java(core, advanced).i donot have any knowlege of J2EE.is this sufficent enough for the interview, doing projects...

i do have a little knowlede on .NET,i m interested to learn .net perfectly.

presently campus recruitments r going on .so i am not able to decide on it.and morething r we eligible for freshers postings

shall be well versed in these 2 languages or should i opt only one of it

plz suggest me regarding these as to which one has the more requirements in the field of software.

thnk u

it will help u campus interviews .. u need to be perfect atleast on ONE
then start learning other as far as i feel ...

what ever u choose stick to it completely .. This is my suggestion

both have GUD SCOPE too improve

well wht u said was correct ,but some of them say tht as a fresher u need to not have the knowledge of J2EE.if u have the knowledge in core and advanced java is enough...can i know how far is this correct.

asthey both havegood scope to get the jobs.they say tillwht u learned for java in academics is enough for a fresher and they say even to get perfect in.net also

as any one of it may click u

and more thing, r the final yr students considered as a fresher

thnk u

hi yashoda,

Yes the pattern of infosys is same for both offcampus and and oncampus.

You prepare well both Shakuntala devi's puzzles books

1)puzzles to puzzle u&

2)More puzzles to puzzle u

And also prepare the RS.Aggarwals quantitative apptitude and verbal reasoning books.

The MOST IMPORTANT is PRACTICE PREVIOUS PAPERS.Bcoz same models of questions are repeated. They change the wordings but the models are same. So previous papers are must.

And in the exam they give inportance to ur solution .Just getting the answer dosent help u.You have to present the solution clearly and neatly step by step.

The pattern is as follows.

1)Written test

2) HR Interview

Written

Puzzles -10 ques-60min

english paper -30 min[its easy].

HR Interview

They test ur cofidence level. Some puzzles also may be asked.

Hi

there is no technical part for freshers .There is RS agarwal's verbal resoning also.Prepare This book along with barrons.

In RS agarwal there are simple puzzles and reasoning excercises.First practice them .

Then solve the puzzles from " George Summers"also, they will be some what tough .Justgo through the solutions for some 5 to 10 questions .Dont worry if u r not able to solve them. Some 8 marks questions given in the test are of that type.

If any doubts ask me.

All the best.
