Need ur suggestion

I want to get into my dream company(IBM).i ahve done M.C.A (frsher 2006).kndly motivate me to Acheive my goal as i am some what confused with LUCK and HARDWORK as i saw people(i know not all,most of them)getting into companies bsed on luck.Me trying but not getting Succedded in finalrounds of many.plz give me some suggestion as i am becoming lazy as only luck decides now and stopped working.

Hi Sreenath,

You know what you want and also you know the reality very well. But, you are trying to avoid the reality.

Let me frame the things picture by picture. You said your friends who are not intelligent are getting into very good companies but not you.
Are they really bad? How do you know it? I believe it is your openion not fact.
If they don't know one or two things which you know, does it mean they are not intelligent?
Are you really good in all aspects? Have you ever tried to list your strengths and weeknesses?
Are you over confident in technical things? Very often, because of this, people will not look at their mistake. They think they are right without even thinking it for a second. Are you that kind of person.
If you know your friends better (the so called, who got into those dream companies but are not really good as per your openion), have you tried to list down their strengths and weeknesses? Compare this ratings with your ratings and see if they are really bad. Don't let your ego come into picture. It will spoil the whole intension of evaluation.
Do you know how much hard work they do when they go home at night times and when you are not around?

Remember, hardwork will always fetches. You may not get rewards today but someday you will enjoy in some or the other way. The day you stop working hard and giving your best, you are lost in this world. This world will play with you and will push your around the corners. Never let it happen. You should be able to push the world. If not, you should be able to stop the world from pushing you. If you want to make your own destiny, you have to work hard. No other short cut.

wat kireeti told is exactly correct.
And one thing if u want to achieve ur dream y r u bringing luck in the middle.
first u try hard then automatically luck will come by itself to u to knock door with a golden opportunity.
luck is just may be its true or may not be so dont depend on luck just depend on ur hard work, one or otherway it will surely result u in any aspect if u belive hardwork.
i wush u all the best ( i wont tell u good luck bcoz luck is in our hands, v've to bring luck according to our way and tht will happen only if v'll work hard.) so try n work hard to achive ur dream..........

I think our members Krishna n Spoorhti gave you a very good suggestion.

Iam sure that the state in which you are now gives me an impression that there is a slight passiveness (dipression) about your self, now your mind is running in multiple directions, a bit decline in your level of confidence.

If so, then its right, every one has to struggle to enjoy the sweetness of the fruit of succes, as you have said some of your friends have got the jobs by sheer luck, yeah ur right some times luck may also play but just sit and descide .......

DO YOU WANT ANYTHING BY LUCK, DO U WANT PEOPLE TO SAY THAT YOU GOT A JOB BY SHEER LUCK AS YOU SAID ABOUT YOUR FRIENDS(GOT JOB BY LUCK)??

done think of a job now, JUST THINK OF ACQUIRING KNOWLEDGE, TRYTO VISUALIZE YOURSELF SITTING IN AN WONDERFUL OFFICE (ibm) FACING AN INTERVIEW PANEL, ANSWERING THEM VERY CONFIDENTLY...

you will definately get into IBM

arre khali peeli mein tension nahi lene ka!! all companies are good. once u will work for 1-2 years in software field, u will get the idea of how things work and then u can try for any other good company. in fact by then u will have fair idea of software industry and which company to join and what not! every organisation has its own positive and negative points. it just depends on u'r perception; some ppl die to go into infosys, other die when they go into infosys (my view is infosys is one of the best company for freshers for the training that it provides to u, so infy ppl don't get offended)

anyway, read this..defeat never comes to you..........
