What Sowmya said holds good for preparing a good resume. But, I want to add few genral points which are equivilently important. Don't make your resume very big. Keep within 2 or at max 3 pages. Also make sure that the contact details you provide are up to date especailly if you are posting resume in sites. This is the big problem I have faced from the resumes I get from sites. Make your resume very simple to look. Don't use many fonts or styles. Prefer to use the standard fonts and styles. Also make sure that, when you attend the interviews, you should have some thing more to say than what is written in resume. That means, give briefing of every thing you have done in your project. But not mention extensive detials. But, it is up to you how you maintain this balance. Regards, Krishna Edited by: sk_kireeti
