I MCA student.......pls suggest me........

hi friends,
i had joined mca just one month ago in a reputed institution...........but basically iam a physics student in my u.g.....so i cant shine as computerscience students.......this makes me very dull....eventhough i had studied computerscience in my higherstandards,and did computer courses like C,C++,VB in private computer centres i feel that iam not doing well...suggest me...

hi frd,
u just again refer books of C. 1st learn frm basics & try to write small prog by ur own. in the computers the thing u've to learn is only logic.if u knw logic u can write prog its very simple.so practise by writing small prog in C u'll get an idea how to write programs if u keep on practising. and also refer books C,then u'll get some subject.
u can try over here ...u r hvng c contests & also c section...plz check tht section so tht u'll get some more info.
no need to worry....just do practise thts it..it will become easy for u..try to learn logic......& try to write prog in diferent ways...

I am glad to know that you are thinking of future in IT industry from the first year it self only. You have come to right place.

Who told you that you can’t make it? You can’t perform very well in computers?
No way.. you can be a gem after the competition of MCA.

What all you need is do not miss any calasses. From 1st day it self start practicing everything in your comp if you don’t have a computer try to get one.

Initially go with the theory part carefully, if you are not able to under stand what it is all about read again & again I am sure you will get to know easily what it is...

Physics students can do miracles in computer science because they always think logically & deeply. Its not all about from which back ground you came, it is all about how you are going to utilize every minute now.

90% of BE/BTECH , MCA students never go with the scientific approach. Most of the students study subjects with exam oriented approach. It means they study if the exams are near if not they waste a lot time by focusing on time pass things..

Don’t be in that 90% students list.. Be in those 10% who always like to read & experiment with new things.

Try to get more interest on the subject automatically you will start enjoying it. No need of joining any courses right now.

Everyday come to this forum.. let us know if you have any doubts are if you need any suggestion.

Hi vinayak, Welcome . Don't underestimate yourself yaar. No any person will become a gem by birth itself. What ever ur doing is fine. nothing is impossible to man kind. You have three years of time to complete the course. U just thorough in your studies. In ur institution u'll get trained by ur instructors.but it is not enough to you to get a job. Daily collect the qestions form this forum and other sources wherever u can get. That stuff will useful for your further interviews and also make you to get merrit in your all exams. Because the atmosphere in ur college is diff from corporate field.Now a days there is heavy competetion for IT jobs. So you have to score min70%. Then automatically jobs will come to knock your door. Practice makes a man perfect. plz do practice daily. It's my sugg yaar.openion is ur's.
