This is venkat, plz sugget me

I have completed my MCA from OSMANIA UNIVERSITY in 2006 with 80%. Now i am searching for job. I have been searching job in HYDERABAD for 4 months. I got call letter for written test only for 4 compinies and 3 walkins.
I am thinking that the oppennings in hyderabad is less than BANGELORE. Now i am planning to go banglore.

can you suggest which is better plsce for fresher either hyderabad or banglore

Hi Venkat,

In general I belive B'lore has more oppertunities than in Hyderabad. But, while you are searching you should go through the news papers for advertisements (I believe you are doing this already).

But before going, throw a light on one point, where do you have more references who can help you in job fishing? Is it Hyd or B'lore. If it is Hyd, and still you want to move to B'lore then, are you willing to travel between B'lore and Hyd when required ( both are far from each other and can be a costly and time consuming affair some times). Does your referals in Hyd project any requirements in their or their friends companies in very near future ( I mean in next 30 - 45 days max). Take your decision based on this. Do you have any friends there (in b'lore) who are searching for job and can give you info when they find any? Always remember friends are very great resource (should say, primary resource) while you are in job hunt.

More over, seing at your number, I don't think it is a bad count. Your count of 4+3 is decent. Even if you go to B'lore don't expect you will see a drastic change. It won't be like 1 interview every alternative day until you get job. Even there also most of the interviews will be on weekends and there won't be any interviews on some weekend... But, I am sure that the number of openings will be relatively more.

venkat u got nice % in mca.in which field u r searching i mean java,dot net etc.and also u can try as a fresher also. as u r hvng nice % u'll get calls ,check ur resume once & prepare it nicely & start applying for jobs.
check hot jobs section almost all companies r asking freshers....apply to all.

comming to hyd and bang....hyd also hvng so many oppr may be somewat lesser than bang. so its ur wish to move to bang or not. if u r hvng any frds who'll guide u then u can go but think twise bfore moving.

u can try in hyd for 1more month hardly....prepare ur resume with ur final yr proj & post ur resume in all job portals.
check hot jobs section HP,satya,wipro, and more companies r asking freshers apply to them online.
check comapnies info & rec section u'll get so many comapnies & consultanices mail ids....

You have 4+3 opportunities here in hyd. I strongly suggest you to sharpen your skills before going to attempt another interview. There are plenty of openings in hyd & bang.

What are the things you have learnt from those 3+4 opportunities ?

Have you introspected yourself that where exactly you are lacking ?

Is there any change in your skills after those 3+4 offers ?

Have you working hard on improving your skills at least for now ?

If the answer is NO to above questions.. Where ever you go on this planet. It is difficult to get into one company.

What I want to suggest you is “ sharpen your skills first “.. then you can get into one company with in 3 attempts.

I have seen many job seekers (fresher) who are busy in taking traingings on java , testing or asp.net.. & who always change the locations.. hyd , bang & Chennai.. They will get disappointed like anything if they can not make it…

Changing our skills set will give more probability than changing location for a fresher.

all my frnds above gave u a very good sugg ...
try 2 analyse the thngs which r said by solution ... u try 2 rechk the reason 4 ur failure inspite of having such a good % ....
also rechk ur resume , prep it well & make it more searchable ...
hyd as well bang have got good no of openings ... bang might have ltl bit higher but competition is also more ....
nyway try 2 follow the suggestions ...

Venkath identify yourself where you fit in hyderabad,bangalore both will give you excellent opportunities.Every city has its pros and cons, i request you to go for a place you seem more comfortable as job satisfaction is more important!!
