hi,
this is Pallavi. i have completed my B.SC (IT &M) with Networking Engg Hons. and also the CCNA certification and 2 papers of MCSE. I m very much interested in this networking field , but i dont have any practical knowledge, i have attended few interviews also but due to lack of experience i m not getting any networking jobs. Right now i m in Hyderabad working as a tech support analyst in a Tata' BPO. I m confused for selecting my carrier and dont know whether i should stick to Networing or shift to any other courses. Plz suggest me wht will be good , shall i go for SAP-Basis or Ethical Hacking or stick to this networking field. Thanks & Regards, Pallavi. |

Re: hi this is Pallavi
hi pallavi,
welcome to sknet. pallavi if u go to other field also again it wil be new to u & in tht also u wont have real time exp na....again u've to try & attend for interviews itself. so rather than gng to other field be in the n/w field itslef and also u r hvng certification......so prepare ur resume nicely and apply forjobs. some may get jobs at the first time ......some may after 3,4 and there r so mant ppl who r geting jobs after 30,40 interviews also. so dont get dissppointment just have confidence in u and try for job. prepare all ur interview que in a book and try for answers ......for the next interview u can refer them....... so pallavi...be positive......set ur mind like i'll get job in my fav field itslef and try.............deff u'll get. wish u all the best. |

Re: hi this is Pallavi
hi pallavi,
wc 2 sk.net ..... dnt get disappointed with initial exps .... instead try 2 find the root cause 4 not getting selected .... it may not b jst bcos of lack of exp .... there may b some other reason involved .... try 2 figure out those reasons .... u dnt need 2 shift ur field .... try out patiently .... attend diff interviews ... dnt think abt the final selection ... chk how well r u performing .... never look or think abt what cld b ur final result .... jst face the interview boldly n confidently ..... try 2 make ur resume more searchable n upload at all places .... u ll definitely get a good brk ... all the best!
