Choosing Software Testing as a Career Option

I am Software Engineer in a well recognized company but now i am finding my work very monotonous so i am thinking to opt Software Testing as my career option. Could you please guide me that whether it would be beneficial for me to opt it as a career since its a matter of my life.

i think something wrong at your thinking part. why were you monotonous at your present work- there should be some reason.
Can you be guaranteed that you may not be monotonous at Software Testing Career.
I suggest you to think twice hope something went wrong at your side which is making you feel such.
check it and correct and you will find work good again.
