1. Two identical trains, at the equator start travelling round the

Each boy in this family has as many sisters as brothers but each girl has tWice as many brothers as sisters. How many brothers and sisters are there?

5. there are 4 brothers and 3 sisters...
2. 1st brother:70 2nd brother:72 3rd brother:74 4th brother:80 so, (70+72+74+80)/4=74

4, 2*x*y/(x+y) 2*40*25/(40+25)
5. 4 brothers and 3sisters. brothersb1-> s1 s2 s3 b2-> s1 s2 s3 b3-> s1 s2 s3 b4-> s1 s2 s3 b1 has 3 brothers so3 sisters s1 has two sisters so number of brothers is 4i.e. twice. |
