4.My husband's watch gains 2 minutes every watch and my watch loses 1 minute for each hour. One day, we were late to marriage because the difference between the time in the two watches was 1 hr and we looked at the slow watch. When did we last set our watches to the same time? Everyone hour the watches gains 3 mins difference. So at the end of 20 hrs it would be 60 mins diff. Hence the answer is 20 hrs before they set their timings. |

2.If a clock takes 3 sec to strike at 3 o clock (striking time neglected), then wht would be d time taken by d clock to ring when it is 7 o clock. At 3 o clock it strikes thrice. So for 2 intervals it takes 3 secs(striking time neglected). So for one interval it would be 3/2 secs = 1.5 secs. When it is 7 o clock it would strike 7 times and the interval is 6. So it would take 1.5 sec * 6 = 9.0 sec |

sangeetha madam is right in 2nd and 4 th
1. A moves from 14 to 133 and B moves from 36 to 87 133-14 = 119 87-36 = 51 If B rises by 51, then A rises by 119 If B rises by 1, then A rises by 119/51 = 7/3 (17*7 = 119) let t be the temp when both have same temp b rises from 36 to t (assumption 36<t<87) this meansA rises by(t-36)* 7/3 which is equal to (t-14) => t = 52.5 right? 3) (b) 6^6, 5^5, 4^4, 3^3, 2^2, 1^1 ans is 4 (a) ans is 9 and let's cram it!!! maine bhi rata hai. no other option. cudn't understand how to get it. lemme try again!!!!! 10,7,8,9,12,9. only Google can put this sequence!
