3)Bottom layer

Top Layer
The central cube has one face painted red-1
All the four corners will have 3 face painted red-4
The Remaining cubes are 2 face painted red-4

Middle Layer
The central cube has no face painted red-1
All the 4 corners are two face painted red-4
The remaining cubes are one face painted red-4

Bottom Layer
The Central cube has one face painted red-1
The 4 Corners are three face painted red-4
Remaining cubes are two face painted red-4

The cubes with 3 faces painted red are:4+4=8
The Cubes with 2 face painted red are:4+4+4=12
The Cubes with 1 face painted are:1+4+1=6
The Cubes with no face painted are:1

Ans:
Average Speed=2(xy)/x+y
so,2(10*15)/10+15
300/25=12 mph
