the series is 1,2,6,24, 120,------- here solu 1 * 2=2 2 * 3=6 6 * 4=24 24 * 5=120 120* 6=-------- 720 other way 1! =1 2! =2 3! =6 4! =24 5! =120 6! =-----720 |

next number will be 720
as in the sequence the next number comes multiplying number with next position in sequence like 1*2=2 2*3=6 6*4=24 24*5=120 so, 120*6=720 |

hi...
a more clear solution for the sequence 1,2,6,24,120,_ is as follows : nth element in the series can be computed as follows : (n-1)th element value * ( sequential position of the element in the sequence to be computed ) For example to get 6th element : (n-1)th element value is (5th element) : 120 sequential position of the required element in the series : 6 Therefore the required element in the sequence is : 120 * 6 = 720 Regards, Prashanth
