i have this doubt: will vlsi or embedded systems have a bright future??? in terms of job oppurtunities??????????

i m writing gre this oct and wish to pursue my higher studies in vlsi or ES so pls suggest me the best one!!!!

basically it depends on ur prev back ground as well on ur interest

VLSI, ES having very bright future...
all ready there r no.of openings & also in the future u'll get lots of oppr.its almost equal to s/f and ofcourse more than it.
so with out any doubt u can join any one of the course.

well guys ,

though i am nt here to discourage all those who are doing embedded course or planning to do embedded course...

There is no doubt that Both VLSI and Embedded Systems have a lot of great and ultimate future for EXPERIENCED....

If you are a fresher and goign for an Embedded systems please select the institutes which also offer realtime projects though they charge you more..

after you complete your course you can claim that as an real time exp..

i am saying these these with my personel experience.......Though i am nt pursuing my career in ES i had done certification course from ROCsys[an american company]...

hi for ur question, u may get it. bsically everthiing is going on embaded in communication side and vlsi in implementation(i.e hard ware) side, and in future also it may not reduce as software. and there r so many opportunities for vlsi and embadded.so u can join in either vlsi or es.wish u all the best. one thing u remember join in good org. who can provide u good opportunities
