Job Description:
We’re currently looking for smart, skilled linux administrators to join us. The pre-requisites for this position are as follows:-
1) Experience of more than 1 year in linux administration.
2) An RHCE or similar certification
3) A thorough understanding of the apache web server
4) A thorough understanding of domain nameDNS server
5) Good understanding of mail servers and email delivery over internet. Experience in administering SMTP, POP and IMAP servers.
6) Very high degree of expertise, speed and comfort in using and administering linux servers.
7)Should be able to install applications from source and configure them.
8) Should be an excellent troubleshooter.
9) Should be able to tweak and optimize applications and daemons.
10) Ability to write scripts in bash and p e r l is preferable.
11) Knowledge of MySQL database server and any FTP server is preferable.
12) Should have excellent communication skills in written English.
13) A smart team player who can take up a lot of responsibilities, you should be pleasant and have good people skills.. High level of skill in configuring and administering it.. resolution over internet and good expertise in administering the bind
