Job Description
Unix Administration (IBM-AIX) UNIX Server/Workstation Installation & Management Configuring User and Group Administration and Implementing Quotas on File System. Package and Patch Administration Maintaining and monitoring the file systems and performance tuning of AIX servers. Knowledge in Shell Scripting to automate jobs LPAR creation Clear concepts for day to day AIX administration tasks and LPAR, NIM, CSM, HMC required. Understanding of ITIL standards. Should be able to understand what is change, problem management etc

Desired Candidate Profile
1) Clear concepts for day to day AIX administration tasks and LPAR, NIM, CSM, HMC required. 2) Degree from recognized university (BE, Bsc, MCA, MCS). 3) Good communication skills ( should be able to communicate with UK colleagues ) 4) Understanding of ITIL standards. Should be able to understand what is change, problem management etc. Certification not must. 5) Position is Pune based. 6) Relevant AIX administration experience should be of minimum 1year to 3 years
