Company Profile - Our Client is the world leader in the design, manufacturing, and marketing of high-performance analog, mixed-signal, and digital signal processing (DSP) integrated circuits (ICs) used in signal-processing applications. Nearly half of their revenues come from the communications market, including products for wireless applications and high-speed access to the Internet.

The India Development Centre located in Bangalore is responsible for all IC development for the SHARC family of 32 bit DSPs.

During the first 5 years, IDC has developed 3 DSP chips including the highly successful world's first 200 MFLOP SHARC 32 bit DSP priced at 10. About 2 years ago, Our Client started a DSP software development team specializing in video/image processing algorithms for the BlackFin DSP. Other recent initiatives include the start of a mixed signal design team and a DSP apps engineering team.

Our Client's is also involved in the development of Broadband Video Conferencing & VoIP Systems and other related products.

Desired Profile
Requirements:
1) M.E/M.Tech (ECE/EE/CS) with 4-6 years experience(for PL's)and 2-3 years experience(for Engineers) in projects with knowledge in networking protocols (SIP, H.323, TCP/IP, MGCP), Embedded systems (Microprocessors, DSPs, RTOS), including hardware, software and its applications.
B.E/B.Tech candidates with relevant strong experience are also considered.

2. The candidate must also be keen in learning new technology and highly
self-motivated.
3. Strong interest in overall product development cycles, system integration, testing &
validation.
4. Work with customers/designers in field trials, product testing, reporting problems and assisting in solving problems.
5. Those who are hired will be trained at US HQ's during the initial stages and should be willing to travel to all major customer sites in Far-East, Europe & US, as and when there are some issues to be dealt with at the respective sites.
