Job Description
This requirement is with one of our client (CMM Level 5 co.). We are looking for candidates having total minimum work experience as 4.5 years and relevant experience on SQL DBA as 2 years.

Functional Responsibilities:
â Minimum of 2 years experience successfully supporting high-availability enterprise sized Windows based SQL server (Enterprise Manager and SQL)
â Experience in database design, administration of Microsoft SQL Server.
â SQL Server 2005 Clustering
â SQL Server 2000 Clustering
â Perl Scripting
â Knowledge of SAN Technology
â SQL Profiler (Tracing)
â Windows Performance Manager (Perfmon)
â Performance Tuning Skills / Knowledge- Performance Tuning Skills / Knowledge
â Planning and performing daily tasks
â User account management
â Instance management
â Database schema management
â Monitoring of Applications
â Adding new scripts
â Resolving applications issues
â Reviewing configuration details of applications
â Planning upgrades
â Producing and maintaining support documentation.
â Checking the quality of documentation from rest of team to ensure it is fit for purpose.
â Review and update configuration information.
â Knowledge Transfer to less experienced members of the team.
â Device configuration & capacity management
â Backup management
â Migration
â Troubleshooting & recovery
