Job Description:
As Test Manager you shall be responsible for managing and delivering substantial software testing projects and programmes. You should have broad experience of the systems development life cycle, and an acknowledged track record of delivery within software testing.
You will be responsible for developing and successfully delivering sophisticated testing projects using teams of testing professionals. You shall be responsible for the day-to-day management of testing teams, and will provide technical leadership and guidance.
Typical Work Activities

In general, responsibilities typically involve:
-managing teams of testers to deliver testing projects and programmes through to successful delivery;
-receiving projects briefs from our various offshore Operating Companies;
-liaising with various Operating Offices to agree testing approach/work plans; inform progress; raise issues and discuss/agree solutions; discuss test results;
-preparing test documentation test strategies, test plans; test scripts, results, reports;
preparing and managing automation test strategies;
-creating and managing test environments;
-deploying testing tools;
-establishing, implementing, and enforcing testing and quality assurance procedures;
-conducting performance management and appraisal processes for the testing team;
-conducting client and internal meetings.

Desired Candidate Profile:
As Test Manger reporting to Director QA you shall work closely with him to collaboratively allocate consultants to projects and ensure delivery of the testing projects on time. You shall also work towards the team development.

Desired Profile:
You are required to have 6+ years testing experience with at least two years experience of test management.
You should have experience of delivering substantial testing and regression testing projects with teams of manual testing and automated testing professionals. The candidates must have hands on experience of deploying and using Mercury Testing tools (QC & QTP) to deliver testing projects.
The breadth of your experience should include many if not all of the following areas:
Test Strategy Development;
Test Planning;
Test Phase Plan Creation;
Test Metrics;
Test Conditions;
Test Scripting;
Defect management;
Quality Assurance;
Environments managements;
Configuration Management and Version Control;
Knowledge of CRM domain shall be an added advantage.
