Job Description:

Responsibilities include:
- Participating in project planning sessions with architects and team members to analyze business requirements and outline proposed solutions.
- Identifying and scoping functional and technical work units required to implement proposed solutions.
Completing implementation of functional and technical work units,including unit tests required to validate correctness and prevent regression.
- Providing oversight and guidance for junior developers, including periodic code review and pair programming.

Mandatory Requirements:
- Understanding that delivering working business software is the most important goal of your job
- 5+ years Java development experience
- Experience translating business requirements into functional
requirements
- Demonstrable leadership skills
- Strong technical design skills

Highly preferred non-mandatory skills, listed in order of preference:
- Previous involvement in Agile development environments and familiarity with Agile development processes
- Systems integration experience
- Familiarity with the following technologies:
Hibernate
Spring
Swing
SQL
Javascript
HTML
Desired Candidate Profile:
Qualifications
1 to 3 years experience as a Senior / Tem Leader
5 to 8 years of experience developing experience in developing detailed design documentation required
Bachelor*s Degree or equivalent work experience required
Experience with Business Process flows preferred
Experience with Microsoft BizTalk preferred
Sun Certification a plus
Ability to work with all levels of customers and colleagues in a professional manner with clear, concise communication
Ability to work with application developers to clearly communicate detailed design specifications
