Job Description:
Essential Functions (Responsibilities):
*Uses expert functional skills in SAP ERP especially FI/CO to direct the functional design, implementation, and testing effort for major SAP implementations.
* Examines cross module dependencies and business needs to produce a robust and simple design. Target modules in priority order are FI/CO, PS, and PM.
*Leads people to completing project assignments in SAP.
*Provides thought leadership for the alignment of business processes with SAP system features.
*Maintains a high degree of business and domain knowledge.
*Provide SAP solution leadership for multiple projects working with Program/Project managers in Designing, Developing and Driving Integrated & Extendable Business Solutions
* Manages project risk through functional/technical expertise in SAP and in project management.
*Reviews the work of the technical team (programming, integrations, extensions) to ensure alignment with functional design

Desired Candidate Profile:
Qualifications/Requirements:
* 2-4 years strong SAP functional expertise in FICO.
* Functional background in finance or accounting such as a chartered public accountant (preferred) or finance manager or accounting manager.
* Expertise in implementing FICO in an environment with a large global company and complex legal entity structures.
* Our business consists of a network of repair shops around the globe each operating independently but linked hierarchically under different legal entities. Knowledge of FICO and SAP in a complex global environment like this is required.
* We are using core SAP ERP (not an industry) vertical so your FI/CO knowledge should be usable in an implementation of the core ERP and not limited only to one vertical.
* At least 2 full life cycles in an SAP project as a functional consultant focusing on FI/CO
* Expertise in: systems strategy definition; systems requirements development; design and prototype; testing, training, and defining support procedures; and implementing practical business solutions under multiple deadlines
* Strong oral and written communication skills
* Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, finance or related field.
* General knowledge (sufficient for functional consulting and oversight) of SAP IDOC structures, ABAP, and SAP files structures.
Overall IT experience of 7+ years
Desired:
Chartered Public Accountant highly preferred.
