Roles and Responsibilities: Mainframe Production Support, experience with IBM
Skill & Job Requirements: Wipro Technologies is looking for candidates with the following skills:
Primary Skills:
1-3 years experience working in mainframe Production Support environment.
Proficient in TSO, ISPF, JCL.
Direct experience working with any one of the following mainframe job scheduling tools
o TWS
o CA-7
o CTRL-M
Knowledge of Mainframe SCM tools ( Endevor/ Changeman)
Direct experience working with the Microsoft Office applications.
Secondary Skills:
Knowledge and experience with IBM, BMC & CA tools is required.
Certifications:
IBM Certification (optional)

Qualification: Bachelors Degree, Masters Degree

Skills: As an employee the candidate will have the following roles and responsibilities:
Candidate is responsible for Mainframe job scheduling monitoring, identifying, resolving and escalating job failures, problems, application and system alerts that could impact the timely completion of batch schedules critical path.
He/She must escalate to on-call support and network operations center any major problems or delays as well as environmental impacts to the data center environment.
He/She must take ownership of a problem from its start to successful completion. Candidates must be able to multi-task in a high production time critical environment. The Mainframe Production Support group is responsible for 1st and 2nd level support for Mainframe batch job schedules including setting up new jobs, changing existing jobs and performing one-time overrides. The Analyst would be expected to handle problems via phone, email, iTracker and the job scheduling monitoring interfaces.
