Job Description:
 In this position, the individual will debug software products through the use of systematic tests to develop, apply, and maintain quality standards for company products.
 The individual will develop, modify, and execute software test plans as well as analyze and write test standards and procedures. Maintains documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software.
 The individual will analyze test results to ensure existing functionality and recommends corrective action and consult with development engineers in resolution of problems.
 The individual will provides feedback in preparation of technical appraisals of programming languages, systems, and computation software.
 The individual will also ensures quality computer integration into the overall functions of scientific computation, data acquisition, and processing.
 The individual must have 3 years experience in a structured QA environment testing IT Enterprise Applications and systems.
 A minimum of 1 to 2 years experience performing and documenting QA testing of functionality to be deployed to the latest versions of integrated i2 applications SCP, DM, MDM, and PM is required.
 Database experience (Access, SQL server, Oracle), writing SQL's is required. Acquaintance with script programming languages used for automation testing (Perl, Python, VB script) is required as well as knowledge of Web/Application servers (Web logic, IIS, Apache, BEA) and network components.
 The individual must have basic knowledge of programming in high level languages (C ++/Java). The individual must be well versed in QA methodology as well as with Software development life cycle.
 Excellent knowledge of Internet/Web technologies is required as well as have QA experience on full-cycle implementations and have strong analytical skills and be detail-oriented

Desired Profile:
 The individual is required to have strong experience with Test Management tool (Mercury Quality Center) and experience using performance testing tools (Loadrunner, Silk Performer) preferred.
 The individual should also have experience with automated test tools (Rational Robot, WinRunner, QTP, Visual Test, Silk test) and must have strong knowledge of SCM methodologies related to semiconductor and retail products industry.
 The individual must be able to development/support teams as well as be pro-active, self motivated, and be result oriented and highly organized.
 The individual will be responsible for writing test plans and test cases, executing test cases and documenting results.
 The QA Engineer will participate in defining test strategies and approach for all release cycles.
 The Individual will engage and participate in all aspects of requirements, design reviews, tests and project plans, resource estimates, and implementation schedules.
 The individual will take ownership of defects found during testing and drive towards resolution coordinating with different groups.
 Experience working with offshore teams is required.
