Job Description:
Responsible for designing, estimating, coding, and testing SAP-based business solutions.
Responsible for implementation, documentation and customer training within assigned area.
Responsible for the proper direction, coordination and management of resources, including ABAP developers, within assigned area.
Responsible for the development and coding of technical specifications for ABAP programs based on functional specifications.
Responsible for maintaining and disseminating knowledge of the effects of changes in new releases of SAP.
Responsible for development and implementation of assigned internal projects.
Responsible for understanding and properly using basic functional concepts.
Responsible for understanding and utilizing all appropriate accelerators, simplification tools and industry solutions applicable to the assigned area and current project.
Responsible for working together with the assigned Project Manager to optimize implementation paths and identify configuration alternatives to business issues that might arise during the project.
Responsible for assuring the assigned Project Manager is apprised immediately of any barriers to successful, profitable project completion.

Desired Candidate Profile:
In depth technical knowledge of ABAP programming is required, utilizing object-oriented methods (ABAP Objects). SAP implementation experience, demonstrable proficiency
and technical in-depth knowledge in core areas such as ABAP Objects, dialog programming, output management in SAPScript and SmartForms, enhancements using CMODs, BAdIs, and the New Enhancement Framework. Technical knowledge encompasses all aspects of building custom solutions in an SAP system including technical design, estimating, coding, unit testing, and technical documentation. Business or consulting experience with demonstrable knowledge in area of expertise. A proven track record of positive people interaction and presentation skills.
