Job Description:
QA Engineer (Java) for a product company in Noida. Experience in white box testing and creating automated unit tests in Java required. Proficiency with SQL and Oracle database is a must. Experience with TIBCO RV, JMS is a plus.

Desired Candidate Profile:
Our client is looking for a QA Engineer who will contribute to the white box testing of its product. The individual will contribute to ensuring quality throughout the full life cycle of product development through inputs to design, development, configuration and implementation.
The individual will contribute to the testing and analysis of core functional modules of the product. The candidate should foster team cohesiveness and cooperation with cross-functional groups throughout the company. The individual should possess excellent analytical and communication skills to work with technical leads to deliver high-quality components for the products.
This position is located in Noida, India and the QA engineer, reporting to QA Manager, will be primarily working with Software Development, Product Management and Customer Support, in Noida India and San Mateo, California to QA and deliver an excellent quality product.
The key responsibilities for the position include:
Review Requirement Specification Documents & Software Design Specification documents and develop a comprehensive understanding of testing requirements.
Regression, integration, performance, loads, and automated testing.
Develop a deep understanding of the product and PLC process
Communicate test coverage, red flags and anomalies to the QA Manager to aid in making the decision to certify releases.
Work closely with engineering teams to analyze and resolve product defects.
Create and maintain testing documentation (test plans, test cases/scripts, defect reports, etc.) for the product suite.
Take ownership of certain product module QA efforts.
Write, review, and execute white box tests cases.
Mandatory Skills/Experience:
· BE in Computer Science or equivalent
4+ years of QA testing
Proven experience in white box testing and creating automated unit tests in Java
Define and execute test cases, identify and document bugs, facilitate bug triage meetings, and escalate and resolve test discrepancies.
· Proficiency with SQL and Oracle database is a must
· Experience with testing back-end Java applications
AIX, UNIX and Linux platform testing experience
Experience with performance and stability testing, and automated stress testing
Experience in using at least 1 Java EE application server (Tomcat, WebLogic, or JBoss preferred)
Web services, SOAP, JMS
Experience in XML processing SAX, StAX, XML Schema and XSLT
Experience testing message oriented middleware and distributed multi-tier applications.
Excellent oral/written communication skills
Detail oriented, strong analytical skills and resourceful in issue resolution
Be comfortable with fast paced schedule driven product cycles
Be a driven team player who is self-motivated, independent and proactive leader
Desirable Skills/Experience
· Experience in JUnit, Spring, Ant, Perforce, and Jira
· Experience with TIBCO RV, JMS is a plus
· Experience in performance testing and usability
