Job Description:
Objective / Purpose of duty:
The Business Manager will own and Drive Booking, Revenue and Margins for the Data Center & Storage (DCS) Business. He will be responsible for building and delivering a business plan around their Business unit, which encompasses a combination of Services and vendor’s technology products.
Main responsibilities:
•Own and Drive Booking Revenue and Margins for the DCS Solution Business in India and SAARC.
•Leading a team of Sales Specialists and Professional Service consultants to drive the business of DCS solutions.
•Be the single point of contact (SPOC) to the DCS in-country and the affiliated partners.

Desired Candidate Profile:
Knowledge, skills, and abilities required:
•A strong business management background including strengths across technology consulting, sales, business development, people and financial management.
•Good presentation , interpersonal skills and possess proven capabilities in solution and consultative selling in the IT and business solutions
•Ability to articulate and present the benefits of having a consolidated Storage environment (Storage Area Network, Networked Area Storage)
•Understand and able to articulate a high level Backup Infrastructure
oTape Libraries, Backup Software, concepts and theories
•Position and articulate Virtualization as a strategy encompassing ,storage, server and networks
•Familiarity with Microsoft Products/Licensing Business.
•Backup Software working knowledge
a)Veritas Netbackup, Legato Networker, CA Arcserv, etc
b)Knowledge of competitive and related storage technologies
c)Abreast of the latest developments, technologies and trends in the Storage Industry
d)Knowledge in Data Centre Facilities
i.Basic build and components that make up a Datacentre
1.Power & Cooling
2.UPS
3.Structured Cabling
e)Knowledge in Data Centre Relocation Practices
i.Articulation of the value of Project Management
ii.Understand and articulate the processes and Consultancy efforts
