Global Services Engineer

We have a critical requirement for Global Services Engineer for one of our premium Client in Bangalore.

Position: Global Services Engineer

Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop and deploy solutions within the set schedule with high degree of
quality.
2. Identify opportunities to reuse existing infrastructure product platform to the
maximum.
3. Test solution design and implementations: Provide input into test plans and test cases
created by QA. Write and perform unit tests and implement automated tests.
4. Customer Relationship: Interacts directly with customer project leaders for
implementations and support issues.
5. Document area of work and train others when needed
6. Identify product needs and potential enhancements and also keep track of Industry
trends related to products and services. Apply industry trends to product
and solution ideas, designs and implementations.
7. Assist customers and field with timely resolution of issues, and guide others with
resolving difficult issues.
8. Able to work with multiple customers during the different stages of their deployment
and pro-actively keep in contact with the customers and projects to keep up with
action items and to report to management the status of the projects.
9. Enhance the infrastructure of PS tools, standards and documentation.
10. Participate in interviewing through next higher level, and collaborate with HR to share candidate feedback.
11. Facilitate interaction between virtual team members to foster better communication
and productivity.
12. Develop expertise in at least one or more areas of technology
13. Become familiar with one or more products and develop expertise in at least one
product
14. Develop expertise in at least one business domain relevant to products
and services.

Qualification:

1. B.E/B.S./B.Tech/MCA/M.S./M.Tech/M.E from an accredited university or college
(domestic and international) with a minimum of 2 years experience in the software
industry with an experience in portal design, development and deployment
2. Programming ability in- HTML, VBScript, JavaScript, ASP, JSP, C++, COM, XML,
Database and SQL, ADO, ADSI, WMI
3. Skills in the following specific technologies-Operating Systems from systems
management and programming level
o All Microsoft Windows operating systems (Registry, NT and 9x services,
NTFS, Domains, Active Directory, User Security Contexts, Login Scripts)
o Solaris
o AIX
?F?nRDBMS (SQL Server 7 and 2000, Oracle 8i and above, DB/2)
